ChatGPT (Chat Generative Pre-Trained Transformer) is a chatbot launched by OpenAI in November 2022. It is a language model capable of producing authentic human-like texts. It runs on OpenAI’s own API.

The bot is used for language translation, summarizing articles, paraphrasing, tuning the tone of voice, and much more — all in a conversational way. Although the data provided by ChatGPT is mostly accurate, the dataset the model is trained on is limited to 2021, thus some information is dated as of 2023.
